Illawarra Backs To Help Nsw Country Take On Nz

ILLAWARRA divisional backs Adam Blake and Fuad Suljkanovic have been selected in the NSW Country representative rugby league team to tour New Zealand at the end of this month.

Dapto goalkicking centre Blake and his Thirroul counterpart Suljkanovic have represented Country on previous occasions.

Their selection in the Country seniors side complements three Illawarra teenagers Trent Jansen, Trent Grundy and Zac Hill, who were named in the Country under 18 representative team to tour New Zealand.

Steelers Jersey Flegg Cup winger Ben Jeffrey will play for NSW under 17s against Queensland under 17s in the curtain raiser to Origin II at Suncorp Stadium next Wednesday.
